Seven-wicket haul by fiery Nadeem

KARACHI, Dec 10: Speedster Nadeem Javed grabbed seven for 65 to help KPT rout KESC for 184 in their first innings on the opening day of the three-day Patrons Trophy Grade-II match at PCB Academy Ground on Saturday.

KPT responded by reaching 141 for four when stumps were drawn for the day. Fahad Iqbal hammered 10 fours in his 47.

Saad Wasim with 27 and Iqbal Shaikh (26) were at the crease in an unbroken stand worth 53 runs with KPT trailing by 43 runs.

Earlier opener Zeeshan Jamil was KESC’s mainstay with a knock of 56 that included seven boundaries. Fazal Subhan slammed 40 with the aid of eight fours.
