Military camp in Kashmir attacked

JAMMU, Jan 27: Kashmiri freedom fighters attacked an Indian paramilitary camp deep in the state, wounding five security personnel, police said on Sunday.

In a separate attack, militants also raided the house of a policeman near Gool in the Udhampur district of southern Kashmir and killed his wife and son, the police official said.

The Central Reserve Police Force camp near Surankote in Poonch district came under fire from guerrillas who attacked from several directions late on Saturday, the police official said.—Reuters
