Brother-in-law kills woman

BADIN, Dec 9: A woman was killed by her brother-in-law in Matli town on Thursday. She was identified as Sabiha Kashmiri, 30. The woman’s husband, Zulfiqar, had a dispute over a plot of land in Kashmiri Mohalla with his brother Intezar. On Thursday, when he was out of town, Intezar entered the house and attacked Sabiha with daggers and killed her.

The Matli police registered a case on the complaint of deceased’s father Taj Mohammad and arrested the accused.

The body was handed over to her relatives after post-mortem.

KILLED: A man was killed near Nindo Shehar on Friday.

Mubeen Mehranpoto was waiting for a bus at a bus stop when Yousuf Mehranpoto shot him dead with a mouser and fled.

The motive behind the murder is said to be an old enmity over a matrimonial dispute.

Police registered a case against accused Yousuf and arrested him.
