Man shot dead; body found in N. Waziristan

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Masked assailants shot dead a man, while body of another person, who had been kidnapped a few days ago, was found in two different areas of North Waziristan tribal district on Wednesday.

The firing incident took place in Mirali Bazaar when masked attackers opened fire on a man, killing him on the spot.

Witnesses said that the deceased identified as Shaheen was shopping in the main bazaar when he was targeted. The attackers escaped the area after the incident. The deceased belonged to Garyom area.

In another incident, the bullet-riddled body of Mohammad Atta, a resident of Khushali Torikhel, was found in Barokhel area. Local people said that the deceased had been kidnapped a few days ago.
