ISLAMABAD: A 20-year-old man was murdered over a land dispute in the limits of Tarnol police on Sunday.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Iqbal Gujjar, two families, who were relatives, had a dispute over a piece of land.

“On Sunday, Ishtiaq Shah opened fire on Adnan Shah killing him on the spot. The body was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims),” he said.

The SHO said the suspected killer had escaped after the incident, but efforts were underway to arrest him.

Sources in the hospital told the body will be handed over to the family after an autopsy.
