REGARDLESS of recent happenings on the political front, the life of the common man has remained unaffected; just as miserable as it has been for long. The masses hope that the government of the time would deliver, but they don’t and apparently don’t want to. They make promises that never get fulfilled.

If the previous government was bad, and it was, the sitting government is not doing any better. In fact, the government and the opposition have been up against each other and engaged in a vilification campaign. They have simply switched sides across the political divide. The problems the masses were confronting a decade ago are still there. Governments do nothing much except deception and taking the middle and the poor classes for a ride. All that the masses want is a better Pakistan. Is it too much to hope for?
