ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Saturday removed the Inspector General Motorway Police Inam Ghani and asked him to report to the Establishment Division.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division on Saturday, Inam Ghani, “a BS-21 Officer of Police Service of Pakistan, presently serving as Inspector General, National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP), under Ministry of Communication, is transferred and directed to report to Establishment Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.”
The Establishment Division, however, notified that “Khalid Mahmood, a BS-21 officer of Police Service of Pakistan, presently serving in NH&MP, under Ministry of Communication, is assigned current charge of the post of Inspector General, NH&MP… for a period of three months or till the posting of regular incumbent.”
The Establishment Division also appointed Ahmed Hanif Orakzai, a BS-21 Officer of Pakistan Administrative Service as Additional Secretary (Incharge), Inter Provincial Coordination Division. Mr Orakzai was previously working as Member Federal Land Commission.
