QUETTA: Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo has said that the people of Balochistan will continue supporting the Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom.

He expressed these views while talking to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan who called on him here during his day-long visit to Quetta on Tuesday.

Some ministers of Balochistan and AJK governments were present in the meeting.

Mr Bizenjo congratulated Mr Ilyas on becoming the AJK prime minister.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various issues of mutual interest.

CM Bizenjo said that Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah had declared Kashmir as the lifeline of Pakistan. He said every Pakistani has a feeling of love and brotherhood for Kashmiris.

The chief minister condemned Indian troops’ atrocities against the people of occupied Kashmir.

He assured the AJK prime minister and members of his delegation that the people of Balochistan would continue supporting the freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir.

The AJK prime minister thanked the Balochistan government for its cooperation.

CM Bizenjo also announced the Balochistan government’s decision of gifting its old aircraft to the AJK government as a goodwill gesture.
