TAXILA: Robbers have been depriving people of cash and valuables worth millions of rupees in Taxila and Wah.

Four armed men snatched cash and other valuables from a trader named Mohammad Siddiq as he was travelling to Rawalpindi.

According to Siddiq, the suspects held him at gunpoint and snatched Rs800,000 cash and valuables from him.

In another incident, Mohammad Riaz and his son were intercepted by three masked men who snatched their motorcycle, a mobile phone and cash.

Likewise, four robbers snatched Mohammad Junaid’s car and other valuables whereas two teenagers carried out a robbery at Mohammad Naeem’s shop.

They were able to escape with Rs35,000 cash and mobile phones.

Moreover, robbers looted Azhar Khokhar and escaped with cash and a mobile phone.

Police have registered cases and started investigation.
