LAHORE, Dec 4: English thoroughbred filly, Mrs Moh, ridden admirably by jockey M. Zeeshan landed the Governor’s Cup run over 1400 metres at the floodlit Racecourse on Sunday.

Owned by Syed Tasweer Hussain Shah and trained by Sohail Aziz, Mrs Moh beat Colonial Girl while Penny Pie and Tortuette completed the frame among eight runners.

Punjab Governor, Khalid Maqbool, who was the chief guest gave away the cup to the winning owner.

He also gave a cash prize of Rs 10,000 to jockey M. Zeeshan.

The best performances of the day’s racing came from two colts, Scooby and Swing. Both completed hat trick of victories.
