KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly will resume its session on Wednesday (today) after over a month.

The provincial assembly session was summoned on Feb 11, but the proceedings were carried out only for six days. The session was initially adjourned to Feb 23, but later it was further put off to March 16 and then March 24.

Sources said a strong-worded resolution against the ruling of the National Assembly’s deputy speaker against the no-trust motion filed by the opposition and for supremacy of the Constitution is expected to be moved in the house on Wednesday.

According to the order of the day, a bill for setting up an authority to regulate the city’s graveyards would be presented.
