CHAGAI: At least four illegal Afghan immigrants lost their lives and five others suffered injuries when a pickup carrying them collided with another pickup coming from the opposite direction on the RCD highway in Tuzgi area of Chagai district.
Official sources told Dawn that the incident took place on Friday morning, leaving two people dead on the spot while two others died in Nokkundi Rural Healthcare Centre.
The deceased could not be identified immediately. They were trying to illegally enter Iran via Pakistan after coming from Afghanistan. The Levies Force has lodged an FIR of the accident.
