Young Ansari defeat Kalri Star

KARACHI, Dec 2: Arif Jan slotted home a late winner to give Young Ansari a 3-2 victory over Kalri Star in KASB Premier League soccer at UP Gymkhana on Thursday.

The winners opened the scoring through a Bakht Zaman penalty kick in the 11th minute. Jamil Ahmad equalized for Kalri Star in the 20th minute while Shafqat put the losers ahead six minutes later.

Omar Nawab restored the parity for Young Ansari in the 60th minute before Arif netted the winner seven minutes later.

In another match, Malir National defeated Babul Sports 3-0.

Mohammad Asif grabbed the lead in the 15th minute and Shahnawaz found the net off a rebound by Babul Sports goalkeeper. Pervaiz Ahmad completed the rout with a 57th-minute strike.
