QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested Faisal Khan, one of the directors of Three-A Alliance, in Karachi for his alleged involvement in a scam worth billions of rupees.

A spokesman for the NAB Balochistan said on Friday that the suspect was taken to Quetta and produced before Accountability Court Judge Allah Dad Roshan, who remanded him in physical custody for seven days.

According to the National Accountability Bureau, Faisal Khan was hiding after the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Three-A Alliance, run by Kashif Qamar, had deprived thousands of people of their hard-earned money on the promise of providing them new motorcycles on a fixed monthly profit.

The company, through its franchises, booked thousands of bikes and issued receipts to the people who invested a huge amount with them.

After receiving complaints from a large number of people, the National Accountability Bureau Balochistan initiated an investigation on a directive of the NAB director general.

After completing the investigation, the NAB Balochistan filed a reference against 25 people, including the owner of Three-A Alliance.

Earlier, NAB arrested Nadeem Jaga, Ahmed Jan, Jalat Khan, Shadi Khan, Shahid Gill and Syed Mir.

In February last, another director of Three-A Alliance Kamran Anjum was also arrested by NAB.

The National Accountability Bureau director general expressed satisfaction over the arrests and asked the investigation team to speed up efforts and nab the main accused in the case.
