LAHORE: Remington Stars and Platinum Homes Tigers carved out contrasting victories in the Tower 21 Polo Super League here at the Lahore Polo Club ground on Tuesday.

Hussain Monnoo and Ghulam Mustafa Monnoo scored twice each as Remington Stars, who had a half-goal handicap, edged past The Eagles 6½-5 to go top the table with their third victory in four matches. Hamza Mawaz Khan and Basel Faisal Khokhar also got a goal apiece while The Eagles got a hat-trick from Ahmed Bilal Riaz and a brace from Ali Fareed.

It was more straightforward for Platinum Homes Tigers as seven goals from Amirreza Behboudi and another from Ashfaq Qadeer helped them to an emphatic 8-4 win over Zacky Reapers who had a brace from Mustafa Aziz and a goal apiece from Nazar Dean Ali Khan and Saif Noon.
