KHUZDAR: Two brothers were killed and two other people injured in an accident on the Quetta-Karachi highway at Kaka Heer area of Wadh, some 60km from Khuzdar town, on Thursday.

According to sources, a car collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The two brothers, identified as Mohammad Idrees and Raees Khan, received multiple injuries in the accident and died on the spot. They hailed from Qila Saifullah district of Balochistan.

Soon after receiving information about the accident, Levies personnel rushed to the area and took the injured to the district hospital in Khuzdar. The injured were later shifted to a hospital in Quetta.
