He said immediate action should be taken to control the traffic congestion in Rawalpindi city and cantonment areas while orders were also issued to improve the sanitation system and condition of roads besides eliminating encroachments.

He said that all the government departments of the city and cantonment areas would work jointly to solve the problems of the residents and improve the civic facilities.

He said that LED lights would be installed in different areas of Rawalpindi city and cantonment.

He said that beautification drive of city and cantonment areas would be launched and unified efforts would be made to improve the condition of all the squares of the city and cantonment areas.
