LAHORE: Punjab Local Government and Community Development Department Minister Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed says various infrastructure development schemes worth over Rs1 billion have been completed in Allama Iqbal Town and some other areas falling in NA-130 and PP-160.

“The projects completed are related to laying sewerage and water supply line, gas pipeline, construction, repair of roads, streets and installation of streetlights,” Mr Rasheed said at a meeting with the party workers on Sunday.

He said the schemes were completed in Karim Block, Neelam Block, Badar Block, Nishtar Block, Shah Kamal, Fatehabad, Bhekewal, Ichhra, Kamboh Colony, Ganj Bakhsh Road, Shah Jamal Road, Union Park etc. He said all the ongoing projects would be completed as soon as possible.

“Efforts are being made to provide quality civic amenities to the residents as envisioned by the prime minister and chief minister,” he added.
