LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday announced the opening of ticket sales for the three-Test series between Pakistan and Australia, which begins with the first game in Rawalpindi on March 4.

On their first tour of Pakistan since 1998, Australia will also play Tests in Karachi and Lahore.

For now, the stadium capacity has been capped at 50 per cent due to Covid-19 concerns and the PCB said further tickets will “be made available online and nearest M&P Courier outlets after further guidance is received from the National Command and Operation Centre.”

There are two enclosure categories available for the first Test at the Pindi Cricket Stadium with a seat at the VIP enclosures costing Rs500 and the ones in the Premium enclosure set at Rs100.

There are four enclosure categories for the second Test at Karachi’s National Stadium and the third Test at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

A seat at general enclosure is set at Rs100, at first class enclosure at Rs200, at premium enclosure at Rs350 while the VIP enclosure seat is for Rs500.

The PCB also said that digital entertainment platform TikTok will be the title sponsor for the series.
