PESHAWAR: Governor Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Tuesday distributed Ehsaas Kafalat cards among 101,661 deserving families of Kohat, Bajaur and Haripur districts here on Tuesday.

Speaking at the function held at the Governor’s House, Mr Farman said the government was extending support to deserving families under the Ehsas Kafalat Card initiative. He said so far 308,008 families in 13 districts of the province had been given the card.

Mr Farman said coronavirus pandemic had badly affected economies across the globe due to which poverty had increased and become a challenge for governments, adding the PTI government was doing its utmost to protect poor segments of society from the adverse effects of the pandemic.
