JUP wants end to rule of establishment

Published November 28, 2005

LAHORE, Nov 27: Saleemullah Khan, president of his own JUP faction, has said the country will remain in crisis unless the nation unites itself to end the rule of the establishment for good. At a press conference here on Sunday, he said the establishment, comprising army generals, bureaucrats, feudal lords and dishonest politicians and judges, had usurped all national resources. He said the three-point Sunni Banaras Conference declaration provided the joint programme for struggle against this unholy alliance.— Staff Reporter
