TOBA TEK SING: A woman, who was set on fire 10 days ago, allegedly by her husband, succumbed to her burn injuries on Thursday.

According to Faisalabad’s Madina Town police, Muhammad Siddiq, of Himmatpura, allegedly set ablaze his wife Saba Bibi, 26, after a domestic dispute.

Complainant Muhammad Younis said 80 per cent of his daughter’s body was burnt and she fought for life in the Allied Hospital for 10 days. The suspect is in police custody.

KILLED: A woman died when she was run over by a truck on Thursday in Faisalabad near Pul Dingroo on Sargodha Road.

Rescue 1122 said Sughra Bibi, 52, was a pillion rider on a motorcycle with her son when the bike slipped and she fell. A truck behind them ran over and killed her.
