Basketball: Murtaza and Paras shine

KARACHI, Nov 26: Murtaza Kamil scored 20 points as hosts Le’cole School outclassed AV Sina School 40-6 in an opening match of Inter-school basketball tournament on Saturday.

Three other matches were decided on inaugural day of the event in which top schools of the city are taking part.

DHA School sailed past Bayview High School (BHS) 36-33 in the most enthralling battle of the day.

The hosts recorded their second victory when they trounced Beaconhouse 32-12 while BHS outplayed British School 52-32 in their second match due brilliant performance by Paras who smashed 27 points.—PPI
