PESHAWAR, Nov 25: Non-government organizations of Austria and Germany in collaboration with the NWFP health department, Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology (PICO) and Aid to Leprosy Patients have set up a field hospital for quake-affected people in Battagram.

The hospital, which was inaugurated on Friday, consists of inpatient facilities, operation theatre, labour room, pharmacy, laboratory, X-ray unit and out patient department.

A press statement said the two NGOs had committed to finance the construction and supply of equipment for the hospital.
