KHUZDAR: At least 12 labourers received burn injuries when an explosion occurred in a gas pipeline at a cotton factory in the industrial town of Hub of Lasbela district.

Police said that an explosion took place in the pipeline in the cotton factory near Nazar Chowrangi Industrial Area of the industrial town resulting in injuries to 12 workers.

Soon after the incident, police rushed to the site along with rescue workers and shifted the injured to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital. Later they were referred to the burns unit of a Karachi-based hospital for treatment.
