QUETTA: Iranian Consul General in Quetta Hassan Darwish Vand called on Balochistan High Court (BHC) Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan at his office on Sunday.

During the meeting, they discussed vast commonalities and historical ties between the two countries and called for improving bilateral relations. Mr Vand appreciated the cooperation of judiciary towards strengthening of bilateral ties.

Justice Afghan expressed his readiness to play a role in promoting relations between the two friendly countries and called for enhancing links between the judicial systems of the two countries.

He mentioned his visit to Iran a few years ago and praised the Islamic judicial system of Iran.
