Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked provincial governors to review the system to redress public grievances in the federal agencies working in the provinces through Pakistan Citizen Portal.

The governor, while speaking on the performance of the federal agencies in the province, said that the heads of the federal departments and agencies should play their role in establishing good governance and keeping society free from illegitimate recommendations and corruption and creating maximum facilities for the people.

The meeting decided to form a committee for resolving the issues faced by medical students across the province, who would be taken into confidence by the institutions to find a suitable solution.

Mr Agha said that through the Pakistan Citizen Portal not only has the performance of federal departments in Balochistan has improved a lot but also timely resolution of public grievances has increased public confidence in national institutions.

He expressed confidence that the next review meeting would significantly reduce public grievances. He directed the Quetta Electricity Supply Company to take immediate steps for ending unannounced load-shedding and in case of compulsion, the public should be informed in advance.
