CHAGAI: Salar Khan Sanjrani, the younger bro­ther of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, who died alo­ng with his driver in a road accident on Saturday, was laid to rest at Faisal Colony graveyard in Dalbandin on Sunday evening.

His funeral was attended, among others, by Sadiq Sanj­rani, Deputy Chairman of the Senate Mirza Mohammad Afridi, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Railways Minister Azam Khan Swati and Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz.

Personnel of police, Levies Force and Frontier Corps were deployed around the airport, Faisal Colony graveyard and Sanjrani House in Dalbandin.

Later, Railways Minister Azam Khan Swati visited Dalbandin railway station and Railway’s Labour Colony where he was briefed about routine operations, condition of railway tracks and employees’ strength.
