GWADAR: A record number of over 2,000 candidates from different areas of Balochistan appeared in the entry test conducted by the University of Turbat for admission to various graduate and master programmes for the university’s spring session 2022.

According to the university officials, the entry test was conducted on 8th and 9th of January for admission to 12 academic programmes. The candidates included 40 per cent female students.

Turbat University Vice Chancellor Dr Jan Mohammad along with Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Mansoor Ahmed and dens of different faculties visited the entry test places and appreciated heads of teaching departments, admission cell and administrative staff of the university for conducting the tests in an organised and systematic manner.

The vice chancellor said that it was very encouraging that in such a large number the people from Makran division were taking interest in getting admission to the university.
