ISLAMABAD, Nov 20: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday discussed with the ruling Pakistan Muslim League president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain agenda of the meeting of the parliamentary committee for supervising rehabilitation and reconstruction plans.

Mr Aziz said the meeting would be held next week and added that heads of all parties in government, allied parties and opposition would be invited.

He said the objective of setting up committee was to get guidance and input from the public representatives in reconstruction activities. He said the government wanted to take all parties in confidence in every important matter.

“This body will provide a platform to public representatives to present their proposals and forward useful ideas for early rehabilitation of earthquake-affected areas,” he said.—APP
