Islamabad tighten grip

ISLAMABAD, Nov 17: Islamabad tightened their grip on their Quaid- i-Azam Trophy Silver League match against Quetta on Thursday and had an overall lead of 275 runs at the Diamond Cricket Ground.

After gaining an 84-run first innings lead by dismissing Quetta for 255 with Zohaib Ahmed taking 5-62, the home side were 191 for seven wickets at the close of third day’s play.

Ameer Khan topscored with 81 in a fine batting display but Islamabad were restricted by Azharullah who captured 4-73.
