Resolution of gas royalty issue urged

QUETTA, Nov 17: Senior Minister Maulana Abdul Wasay has said that a mediation committee headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry should be formed to resolve the gas royalty issue. Talking to newsmen here, he said that a mediation committee headed by former chief justice Ajmal Mian had been formed to settle the electricity royalty issue of the NWFP.

He demanded a similar committee for settling Balochistan’s gas royalty issue.—Correspondent
