RAWALPINDI: Two flight information electronic display boards (FIDs) have been installed at the departure lounge at Islamabad International Airport on Friday.

The LED flight information display system is computerised that is used in airports to display information about arriving and departing flights in real-time at the airport.

The FIDs were installed at the old Benazir Bhutto International Airport and have been relocated at the new airport.

He said the CAA engineers had saved a significant amount of money by relocating the two boards from the old airport.
