24 teachers dismissed from service

LAHORE, Nov 14: The Punjab education department dismissed on Monday 24 schoolteachers from service for absenteeism and maladministration. The increments of 22 teachers and other staff of various schools have also been stopped, besides the recovery of misappropriated amount from them has also been ordered. The action has been taken on the direction of the education minister.

The monitoring teams had been assigned to inspect public schools in the province.

The teachers dismissed from service include Ghulam Husain of the Government Primary School Basti Mann, Ghazanfar Husain of GPS Gharibabad, Saeed Tayyab of GPS Basti Khudadad, Javed Iqbal of GPS Pull Miani, Asif Zia of the Government Elementary School Sharifpura, Abdul Majid of GPS Mohnpura Shujabad, Mushtaq Ahmed of GPS Rasoolpur, Muhammad Saddiq of Governemnt Middle School Ramzanabad, Ms Rifat Parveen of the Government Girls Middle School Bahadurpur, Humaira Anjum of GGHS Sher Shah, Ambreen Shahid of GGPS Asianwala, Ms Shahnaz Manzoor of Muzaffarabad, Gulshan Ara and Eozina Gohar of Chah Yar Muhamamdwala, Rubina Katim of GGPS of Ramzan Khanwala, Amna Parveen of GGPS Chawanwala, Gulnaz Sarwar of GGPS Pir Bukshwala Sujabad, Safia Parveen of GGPS Sultanpur and Uzma Jamil of GGHS Kabootar Mandi.
