KARACHI: The Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) held a farewell dinner on Monday at a local hotel to honour its six senior retiring professors.

They are: former executive director Dr Seemin Jamali, Prof A.R. Jamali, Prof Iqbal Afridi, Prof Sameer Qureshi, Prof Shamim Qureshi and Prof Khalid Rasheed.

“We cherish the services of our seniors in building and strengthening the institution of JPMC, who set new standards of healthcare delivery and resource management in some of the most difficult times,” said Prof Shahid Rasul, executive director JPMC and acting Vice Chancellor of the Jinnah Sindh Medical University.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr Seemin Jamali fondly reminisced about her time at the JPMC and declared it a fantastic opportunity to serve the ailing humanity from all across the country.
