NAWABSHAH, Nov 12: Two persons were shot dead by four unidentified gunmen in Sakrand on Saturday. Haji Qasim Magsi, 40, and Aftab Ahmed Mallah, 22, were taking tea at a roadside hotel near the agriculture office when the armed men, on two motorcycles, opened fire on them and fled.

Haji Qasim died on the spot while Aftab Ahmed was taken to the Sakrand taluka hospital where he could not sustain injuries and died. The deceased were residents of the Mohammad Ali Magsi village.

SNATCHING: Two unidentified gunmen snatched a motorcycle on Saturday from Arshad Ali Qureshi on gunpoint at the Dhamrah road in the jurisdiction of A-section police station.

HIJACKED: Three armed men snatched a motorcycle (NHB-6391) from Faiz Mohammad Unnar at gunpoint at the Chaar water near Khadar area of the Sakrand taluka.

No FIR was lodged till filing of the report.
