PESHAWAR: The Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, organised a Seeratun Nabi Conference in connection with the Eid Miladun Nabi.

Kamran Khan Bangash, special assistant to the chief minister on media, was the chief guest.

Speaking on this occasion, he said the management of KMU, especially the vice-chancellor, deserved congratulations for holding Seeratun Nabi conference in light of the instructions of the federal government, according to a press release.

Mr Bangash said the purpose of celebrating the occasion aimed to let the entire nation know about the various aspects of the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The message of the conference is to live in light of the instructions of the Qur’an and Sunnah for success in this world and in the hereafter, he added.

Kamran Bangash said the strong voice raised by Prime Minister Imran Khan against blasphemy at the UN was not only reflected the sentiments of the entire Pakistani nation but also the two billion Muslims around the world.

He said the purpose of celebrating the occasion was to create unity in the nation and to show a strong bond of devotion and respect for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). KMU Vice-Chancellor Prof Ziaul Haq also spoke on the occasion.
