LAHORE: Punjab Colours, Wapda, Army and Railways won their respective quarter-finals on Monday to complete the last-four lineup of the Chief Minister Punjab Five-A-Side National Women’s Hockey Championship here at the National Hockey Stadium.

Sidra Hakim scored a hat-trick while Mariam Hussain, Aqsa Ajaz, Saira Murad and Mahak Rasheed chipped in with a goal apiece as Punjab Colours romped to a 7-1 win over Punjab Whites, for whom Amara Murad got on the scoresheet.

For a spot in the final, Punjab Colours will face Army who rode on goals from Adeeba Afzal, Asma and Iqra Iqbal to cruise past Sindh Whites 3-0.

Wapda scraped past Higher Education Commission 3-2 as Hamra Latif’s bagged a brace and Maira Sabir got a goal. Kulsoom scored twice for HEC.

Their semi-final opponents Railways had a more comfortable win as Arzoo Mansoor’s double saw them overwhelm Islamabad 4-1. Mariyam Hanif and Sarika Sarwar got the other goals for Railways while Fozia Talib replied for Islamabad.
