KARACHI: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed enters Submarine Hamza.—APP

KARACHI: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed visited the Pakistan Navy Dockyard on Sunday, said a statement.

“Commander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Naveed Ashraf received the interior minister on his arrival,” it said. “The minister was briefed about the operational capabilities of the Pakistan Navy,” according to the statement.

The minister made a detailed visit of PN submarine Hamza and was briefed about its functions. The minister, it said, reviewed different sections of the submarine.

“The interior minister expressed satisfaction over the operational capabilities and professional excellence of the Pakistan Navy. He also paid tributes to PN for its role in both peace and war conditions,” added the statement.
