The positive side of Pakistan

This is regarding the cover article, “The positive side of Pakistan” by Rizwana Naqvi (YW, September 11). It was a marvellous piece of writing.

It is true that we focus on the negative aspect of almost everything — events, people, places, things, etc. But sadly, we hardly pay attention to the positive side in those things.

I appreciate the writer for bringing together this wonderful information about our country. I would really appreciate it if more such articles appear in the magazine in future as well.

The article “The positive side of Pakistan” by Rizwana Naqvi, brilliantly showcased Pakistan’s wonderful places and people. The article left me surprised as I was unaware about so many things that our country possesses.

Reading it I realised how lucky and blessed we are, but, sadly, most of us have no clue about such aspects of our country. I am thankful to the writer and the YW magazine for publishing such an informative article.

The cover article “The positive side of Pakistan”, by Rizwana Naqvi, showed how blessed our land Pakistan is, as it is full of precious natural resources and also with people who hold world records in various fields.

People should not just see the negative side of a nation, but also look at the positive side, which is full of beautiful and historic places, with important natural resources and people who have made their name in various fields around the world.

It is the responsibility of teachers, parents and all those in leadership positions in Pakistan, to make the nation aware of all the good things about our motherland so that today’s generation are aware of their identity.

Beauty of relationships

This is with reference to the article, “Beauty of relationships” by Ayesha Ilyas (YW, September 11). It was not only a great advice for the readers, but also a great lesson for those who don’t realise the importance of having relationships in their life.

Most youngsters are busy in their lives, they set priorities and live their life accordingly. However, the presence of relations in one’s life has great benefits, as they lend us support and care whenever we are in need.

We should cherish the presence of all the relations in our life, like parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, friends, neighbours, etc. They are all gifts of God, we should care for them and respect them.
