LOWER DIR: A woman was killed and 10 others were injured when a pick-up van and a trailer collided head-on in Katkala area of Ouch here on Saturday.

The van was part of a wedding party going to Shadas Maidan from Barikot Swat.

The injured were rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Chakdara, by a team of Rescue 1122. Two children were later referred to a Peshawar hospital in critical condition.

The Ouch police registered a case and started further investigations.

Meanwhile, Shah Hussain, a resident of Mian Kallay area of Jandol, told the police that his father, Mohammad Hussain, 70, had been missing for last 10 days.

He reported to the Munda police that the family had searched the missing man but no clue was found.

He said the police and other agencies should help the family in locating the missing man.
