LAKKI MARWAT: Bodies of two proclaimed offenders were found in Miryakhel area of Bannu district on Tuesday.

An official said that a party of Miryakhel police station reached the area when locals informed it about the bodies lying in the fields. He said that the policemen shifted the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bannu city.

“The deceased belonged to Naurang town of Lakki Marwat district, and were wanted by Naurang police in theft and other cases,” he maintained.

The official said that both the outlaws had been killed with a firearm and their bodies were handed over to the relatives after fulfilling medico-legal formalities at the hospital.

He said that area police had registered a case against unknown killers under section 302 (premeditated murder) of PPC and began further investigations.

In a separate development, a man was killed by his brothers over a property dispute in the Hathikhel area of Bannu district.

The police said that the accused, including Allah Noor, Abdullah and Sajid, shot at and killed their brother, Sahib Noor Khan, and escaped.

The Miryakhel police began investigation after registration of a case against the killers under relevant sections of law.
