LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Monday granted Lorry Adda police physical remand of six suspects for three days for investigation in the Tiktoker assault case.

The police produced six suspects Sheharyar, Mehran, Abid, Arsalan, Sajid and Iftikhar before the magistrate to secure their custody.

Magistrate Hassan Sarfraz Cheema allowed the police request and granted physical remand of the suspects till Sept 9.

Speaking before the court the suspects denied their involvement in the incident.

Suspect Abid said he had gone to the Minar-i-Pakistan with his wife and five children. He said he was nowhere in the video of the incident.

The police had registered an FIR against 400 unidentified people for assaulting the complainant, molesting and stripping her.

Sections 354-A, 382, 147 and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code have been included in the FIR.
