SUKKUR, Nov 6: A man was killed and two others were injured in an armed clash between bandits and villagers in the Pano Akil district on Sunday. Villagers came for help when inmates of the house resisted robbery.

Nazir Chachar was killed while Nabi Bux Chachar and Gunwar alias Nawab Ghoto were injured as a result of firing between the villagers and the bandits.

The injured were initially shifted to the Sukkur civil hospital but were later moved to Karachi in a critical condition.
