Nasir clinches squash title

ISLAMABAD: Nasir Iqbal upset world No.44 Tayyab Aslam in the PSF-Combaxx Sports Squash Championship final here at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Tuesday.

Nasir, the world No.102, defeated Tayyab 8-11, 10-12, 11-8, 11-5, 11-4 in a seesaw decider lasting 49 minutes.

The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) in collaboration with Combaxx Sports organised the championship.

Air Marshal Aamir Masood, senior vice-president of the Pakistan Squash Federation who was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, distributed trophies and prizes among the finalists.
