ISLAMABAD: A suspect allegedly involved in a multi-billion rupee scam escaped minutes before dismissal of his pre-arrest bail petition by a division bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Initially, IHC granted interim bail to the suspect – B4U Chief Executive Officer Saifur Rehman- against Rs1 million surety bonds.

Sardar Latif Khosa was representing the suspect before an IHC bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah.

The court briefly reserved judgment after prosecution and the defence counsel concluded their arguments.
