KARACHI, Nov 3: The city government will introduce information technology management system in all its hospitals, including the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. This was stated by the City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Thursday. He was presiding over a meeting to take account of the healthcare facilities being provided by the city government.

The nazim said that after the introduction of the IT management system, the available resources and manpower in the city government hospitals would be utilized in an efficient manner.

He hoped that this system would help these hospitals in improving their healthcare delivery standards.

The meeting also reviewed the performance of the Sobhraj Hospital. The medical superintendent of the hospital briefed the meeting on the working and the problems being faced by the hospital.

The city nazim asked the concerned officials that separate meetings should be held to review the performance of different hospitals being run by the city government.

He also sought detailed reports on the performance of these hospitals.—PPI
