KHANEWAL, Nov 2: A son of a police officer shot himself dead with the pistol of his father after his sister warned him she would inform the father that he had avoided school to play billiards.

Farooq Ali Chishti of Kohna police had shifted to Khanewal from Kabirwala for education of his kids.

On Tuesday, his son Saadtullah (15) came home after attending a billiards club. His sister warned him that she would inform the father that he had played billiards instead of attending his classes at school.

Upon this, the boy took the pistol of his father, went to a nearby park and committed suicide.

Khanewal city police have sent the body of the boy to the district headquarters hospital for autopsy. —APP
