TAXILA: Four people including a minor were killed while six others injured in different incidents in district Attock and Wah Saddar police station limits on Tuesday.

In the first incident, a minor was killed and six others were injured, when a speeding car rammed into another car while overtaking a vehicle on Rawalpindi-Kohat road near Mathail in the limits of Bassal Police station.

Due to the incident, two-year-old Ayesha died on the spot while six others were injured.

In the second incident, the body Mohammad Safdar, 55, was found in the cornfields near Peerzai village in limits of Hazro police station.

Moreover, a man identified as Jabar Rauf was electrocuted in Syidain village within the same police station limits.

Separately, a man identified as Abdul Rehaman, a resident of Hassanabdal was shot dead in New City Phase II in Wah Saddar Police station limits on Tuesday. Police sources said that Abdul Rehman was going in his car when unknown assailants showered him with bullets and fled .

Tailor arrested for assaulting boy

The Taxila police on Tuesday arrested a tailor master for allegedly sexually assaulting an eight-year-old boy in mohallah Parri.

A citizen reported to the police that the tailor master took his son to his shop and assaulted him.

Medical examination of the victim confirmed the assault, police and registered a case against the suspect and subsequently arrested him.
