Sindh has reported 2,174 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, significantly up from 1,390 a day earlier, taking the province's tally of infections to 403,947.
According to an update shared by the Chief Minister's Office, 40 more people succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll to 6,275.
In the 24-hour period, 26,891 tests were conducted, while 2,149 people recovered from the virus.
